I’m Dr. Mark Solomon, and I’ve had the privilege of practicing plastic surgery for over 35 years. During this time, I edited an authoritative textbook for surgeons on cosmetic surgery for men.
That textbook included a chapter on penis enlargement surgery using techniques that were still evolving at the time. I had the opportunity to work closely with the author of that chapter and learn innovative surgical methods firsthand.
Penile surgery has been an important part of my career — both during my time at two medical schools and later in private practice. Over the years, I’ve successfully treated hundreds of men with a wide range of penile complications, including aesthetic concerns, functional problems, scarring, filler complications, implant issues, and reconstructive challenges.
While urologists play a critical role in treating erectile dysfunction and urinary conditions, many penile complications require the specialized training of a plastic surgeon — particularly when appearance, scar revision, tissue reconstruction, or restoration of length and contour are involved. I frequently collaborate with urologists when appropriate to ensure comprehensive care.
