This 26 year old woman desired buttock augmenation. She sought out Philadelphia plastic surgeon Dr. Mark Solomon who had operated on several of her friends. She wanted to know the difference between buttock implants and fat injection to create a fuller appearaing buttocks. Dr. Solomon explained that using liposuction and fat transfer, he could help her achieve a narrower waist and fuller buttocks without the use of implants. This more natural look is achieved by fat transplantation from other areas to her buttocks. Implants cannot provide the double correction in this area. She is seen after surgery with an increase in her buttock projection and a smoother waist, hips and bra strap area.
