This 28 year old woman from New Jersey came to see board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Mark Solomon in Philadelphia. She had researched her options and had specific goals for breast augmentation. She desired implant placement on top of her pectoral muscles in the subglandular plane. She also wanted silicone implants. Dr. Solomon suggested the use of a textured implant to reduce the risk of capsular contracture. She underwent placement of these implants using a periareolar incision. She went from a 34A to a 34D with a moderate profile, textured silicone implant with a volume of 440 cc on each side. She is shown before and 6 months after surgery.
