This is a 48 year old woman who disliked the sagging of her breasts. She wanted a look that fit her upbeat attitude. After raising her children, she decided it was time to do something for herself to feel more comfortable. She traveled from Bucks County to Dr. Solomon’s Main Line Plastic surgery office in Bala Cynwyd. She met with board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Mark Solomon. She told him all of her concerns and goals, including lifting her breasts along with modest enlargement to fit her body. She was nervous about appearing too large, but wanted some fullness, especially in the upper portion of her breasts. Dr. Solomon outlined her options. A breast lift alone would give her higher breasts, but would not give volume in the upper portion. An implant without a lift would yield larger, saggy breasts, something no one wanted. A combination of lift with augmentation, using appropriately sized implants would help her fulfill her goals. Because of the excessive skin in each breast a traditional breast lift technique was needed. This leaves scars around each nipple, down the middle of each breast and underneath each breast. Using Dr. Solomon’s implant sizing methods, she chose the size that was right for her. She was given the option of saline or silicone implants and chose moderate profile Allergan Natrelle implants, 360 cc filled to 390 cc placed in beneath her chest muscle. Her surgery was performed in a state licensed surgery center and she went home the same day. She’s so happy with her result, she often doesn’t wear a bra, and doesn’t miss having to hoist her breasts into one.
