This is a 21 year old woman who always felt self-conscious about her breasts. Her mother had undergone breast augmentation by Philadelphia plastic surgeon Dr. Mark Solomon and she knew that Dr. Solomon would be her choice. She met with Dr. Solomon in his office in Bala Cynwyd, where he outlined her options of implant placement, below or above the muscle, and incision placement, armpit, nipple, beneath the breast or belly button. Because she had grown up knowing that her mother’s scars beneath each breast were small, she chose the same incision. And she chose implant placement beneath the muscle. Due to her age, silicone implants were not an option for her. Dr. Solomon used his particular methods to help her determine the right implant size. Her surgery was performed at a state licensed surgery center using general anesthesia to maximize her safety and comfort. She want home and after a few days was back to almost all of her regular activities. She had smooth, round moderate profile Allergan implants placed, filled to 500 cc. She loves the result and now wears a 36 C bra.
