This 44 year old physician from New York traveled to see Philadelphia plastic surgeon Dr. Mark Solomon to learn how he could achieve fuller calves. He consulted Dr. Solomon for his expertise in calf enhancement and male cosmetic surgery. The patient exercised daily, including running, and noted no change in the appearance of his calves, which he considered to be too thin. Dr. Solomon used computer imaging to help determine how to use calf implants to correct the situation. Surgery was performed on an outpatient basis and he returned to New York on the same day. His scar is placed in a natural skin fold behind his knee. He returned to work within a few days and returned to all activities within a month.
