Breast Augmentation Before & After Photos

This 26 year old woman from upstate Pennsylvania traveled to Philadelphia plastic surgeon Dr. Mark Solomon.  She wanted to undergo breast augmentation.  She was in good health, but smoked more than one pack of cigarettes each day.  Dr. Solomon agreed to perform the procedure, but told her that her risk of complications from surgery was increased because of her smoking.  She developed capsular contracture (hardening) of her left implant more than one year after surgery.  Dr. Solomon prescribed a combination of medications for treatment.  She is seen 2 years after surgery with resolution of her contracture.  She has smooth saline high profile 425 cc implants filled to 440 cc on the left and 430 cc on the right.  The implants are beneath her pectoral muscle, placed using an incision beneath the breast.
